An empty slot is lost revenue you never get back

No-shows, missed confirmations, and off-season dips hurt revenue. Bookings stays ahead of them — it reminds the customer, confirms the appointment, and suggests how to fill quiet days.

  • Send booking confirmations and reminders. Every appointment gets confirmed automatically — no manual chasing.
  • Recover missed or canceled appointments. Empty slots get a follow-up instead of staying empty.
  • Trigger follow-ups after each visit. Thank-yous and next-step messages go out on their own.
  • Ask satisfied customers for reviews. Requests fire at the right moment, so your reputation grows.
  • Bring past customers back into the schedule. An invite goes out when it's time to book again.

Built on the CDP

Every booking lives in the customer profile, and that history drives the repeat visit.

Manual chasing versus a calendar that runs itself

Most shops keep the schedule in their head and a notebook by the phone. That works until the week gets busy, and then confirmations slip and the slow weeks catch you off guard.

The old way

  • Calling or texting every reminder by hand, one at a time
  • A shared spreadsheet to track who's confirmed and who hasn't replied
  • Reviews you meant to ask for and forgot the moment the customer left
  • No idea the slow season is coming until the calendar is already empty

With Bookings

  • Reminders and confirmations go out automatically by email or SMS
  • Review requests fire on their own right after the visit
  • Seasonal dips get flagged early, with time left to react
  • Every booking lands in the same customer profile Quill and Forecasts use

Questions we hear from shop owners

Does this replace my booking or scheduling software?

No. Bookings doesn't take appointments itself — it plugs into whatever already generates the booking event, whether that's your scheduling app, your POS, or a form on your site, and takes over the reminders, confirmations, and follow-up from there.

What happens if a customer doesn't confirm?

They get a follow-up reminder closer to the appointment, and the booking gets flagged as no-show risk so your front desk can see it and decide whether to call or hold the slot open for someone else.

Does it work for multiple locations or recurring appointments?

Yes. Each location's schedule and seasonal pattern is tracked separately, and recurring appointments get reminders on their own cadence instead of being treated as one-off bookings.

Do I need to set anything up per location?

Just point each location at the source that generates its bookings. Reminder timing, channels, and review timing follow one shared setup unless you want a location to run differently.

Does Bookings handle no-show fees or cancellation billing?

No. Bookings flags risk and chases confirmations, but it doesn't touch payments or enforce your cancellation policy — that stays with your booking or payment provider.
